Story
Midea did not need another dashboard that nobody opened. It needed cloud security review to move. In China, cloud security engineers already knew where cloud misconfigurations went wrong: too many copies, too little ownership, and a close process that waited on the loudest inbox.
Auth0 from Okta is now in that path. Okta is an identity platform for workforce and customer authentication, single sign-on, and lifecycle management. The company treats it as production tooling for cloud security review, which is why cloud security engineers live in it rather than exporting from it once a quarter.
Midea can show how cloud misconfigurations is handled today. That is the value: a repeatable way to run cloud security review on software the rest of the industry already recognizes.
