Financials work at Discover Financial spans more than one site, even when headquarters sits in the United States. Financial planning was splitting across regional habits. FP&A asked for a shared way to run planning and forecasting without freezing local judgment.
Temenos (Temenos Infinity) is what they standardized on. Temenos provides core banking and digital banking software used by financial institutions to run accounts, payments, and channels. Discover Financial uses it as the system of record for financial planning, with FP&A as the primary operators and other groups coming in through the same queue.
