Story
Consumer Discretionary work at VF spans more than one site, even when headquarters sits in the United States. Online checkout was splitting across regional habits. Ecommerce and payments teams asked for a shared way to run digital commerce without freezing local judgment.
Shopify (Shopify Checkout) is what they standardized on. Shopify is a commerce platform that lets brands run online stores, checkout, and omnichannel retail on a shared stack. VF uses it as the system of record for online checkout, with ecommerce and payments teams as the primary operators and other groups coming in through the same queue.
Leaders get a picture they can actually walk. Teams get fewer mystery statuses. The story is about operating change, not an unpublished percentage.
