TRATONTRATON Extends Hexagon PPM Across Engineering Design
TRATON, an industrials organization in Germany, uses Hexagon PPM from Hexagon to support engineering design for design engineers.
TRATON runs engineering design on Hexagon so ownership is obvious when work stalls.
“In Germany, design engineers already knew where product design went wrong: too many copies, too little ownership, and a close process that waited on the loudest inbox.”
“Hexagon provides digital reality and industrial software for measurement, design, and operations in manufacturing and geospatial work.”

Story
TRATON did not need another dashboard that nobody opened. It needed engineering design to move. In Germany, design engineers already knew where product design went wrong: too many copies, too little ownership, and a close process that waited on the loudest inbox.
Hexagon PPM from Hexagon is now in that path. Hexagon provides digital reality and industrial software for measurement, design, and operations in manufacturing and geospatial work. The company treats it as production tooling for engineering design, which is why design engineers live in it rather than exporting from it once a quarter.
TRATON can show how product design is handled today. That is the value: a repeatable way to run engineering design on software the rest of the industry already recognizes.
