Story
Inside Sketch, shared services used to depend on whoever still had the latest file. That pattern is common in information technology groups working out of the Netherlands. HR, facilities, and finance ops needed a system that would still make sense after the original project team moved on.
Sketch uses Helix ITSM from BMC as the working layer for employee requests. BMC provides IT service management, operations, and workflow automation software, including Helix and Control-M. The practical change is simple: shared services has a home, and reviews happen there instead of in a forwarded thread.
Nothing in this writeup invents a savings number. What Sketch gets from BMC is a durable place to run shared services and a way for HR, facilities, and finance ops to see the same employee requests at the same time.
