Story
PPL did not need another dashboard that nobody opened. It needed platform operations to move. In the United States, infrastructure and application teams already knew where cloud landing zones went wrong: too many copies, too little ownership, and a close process that waited on the loudest inbox.
Aria from VMware is now in that path. VMware, part of Broadcom, provides virtualization, private cloud, and container software used to run enterprise data centers. The company treats it as production tooling for platform operations, which is why infrastructure and application teams live in it rather than exporting from it once a quarter.
PPL can show how cloud landing zones is handled today. That is the value: a repeatable way to run platform operations on software the rest of the industry already recognizes.
