Comcast did not need another dashboard that nobody opened. It needed security operations to move. In the United States, SOC analysts already knew where endpoint detection went wrong: too many copies, too little ownership, and a close process that waited on the loudest inbox.
Cortex XSOAR from Palo Alto Networks is now in that path. Palo Alto Networks provides network, cloud, and security operations products used to protect enterprise environments and automate response. The company treats it as production tooling for security operations, which is why SOC analysts live in it rather than exporting from it once a quarter.
Comcast can show how endpoint detection is handled today. That is the value: a repeatable way to run security operations on software the rest of the industry already recognizes.
