International Paper did not need another dashboard that nobody opened. It needed remote access to move. In the United States, network and IT already knew where private application access went wrong: too many copies, too little ownership, and a close process that waited on the loudest inbox.
Secrets Manager from CyberArk is now in that path. CyberArk focuses on privileged access and identity security so organizations can control high-risk credentials and machine identities. The company treats it as production tooling for remote access, which is why network and IT live in it rather than exporting from it once a quarter.
International Paper can show how private application access is handled today. That is the value: a repeatable way to run remote access on software the rest of the industry already recognizes.
