Story
Information Technology work at Hotjar spans more than one site, even when headquarters sits in Malta. Workload migration was splitting across regional habits. Migration squads asked for a shared way to run datacenter exit planning without freezing local judgment.
IBM (IBM Cloud) is what they standardized on. IBM offers hybrid cloud, AI, and automation software, including watsonx, Red Hat OpenShift, and observability products for large enterprises. Hotjar uses it as the system of record for workload migration, with migration squads as the primary operators and other groups coming in through the same queue.
Leaders get a picture they can actually walk. Teams get fewer mystery statuses. The story is about operating change, not an unpublished percentage.
