Story
Hitachi Construction Machinery did not need another dashboard that nobody opened. It needed engineering design to move. In Japan, design engineers already knew where product design went wrong: too many copies, too little ownership, and a close process that waited on the loudest inbox.
Fusion Compiler from Synopsys is now in that path. Synopsys provides electronic design automation and software integrity tools used by semiconductor and software engineering teams. The company treats it as production tooling for engineering design, which is why design engineers live in it rather than exporting from it once a quarter.
