DNB grew core processing faster than the local tools around it. From Norway, financials teams still had to serve customers and internal partners who expected a straight answer. Operations and product were the ones stitching the picture together by hand.
Rolling out InsuranceSuite put banking operations on Guidewire. Guidewire makes core insurance software for policy, billing, and claims used by property and casualty carriers. DNB keeps the product in the path where work already happens, so operations and product do not context-switch into a graveyard system used only for audits.
The visible result is steadier banking operations. Core processing is easier to inspect, and adjacent groups can join operations and product without a guided tour of someone's desktop.
