Story
Block did not need another dashboard that nobody opened. It needed banking operations to move. In the United States, operations and product already knew where core processing went wrong: too many copies, too little ownership, and a close process that waited on the loudest inbox.
Guidewire Cloud from Guidewire is now in that path. Guidewire makes core insurance software for policy, billing, and claims used by property and casualty carriers. The company treats it as production tooling for banking operations, which is why operations and product live in it rather than exporting from it once a quarter.
Block can show how core processing is handled today. That is the value: a repeatable way to run banking operations on software the rest of the industry already recognizes.
