Rolling out Connect put engineering design on AVEVA. AVEVA, part of Schneider Electric, provides industrial software for engineering, operations, and real-time data, including the PI System. Essential Utilities keeps the product in the path where work already happens, so design engineers do not context-switch into a graveyard system used only for audits.
The visible result is steadier engineering design. Product design is easier to inspect, and adjacent groups can join design engineers without a guided tour of someone's desktop.
