Story
Deutsche Bank grew financial planning faster than the local tools around it. From Germany, financials teams still had to serve customers and internal partners who expected a straight answer. FP&A were the ones stitching the picture together by hand.
Rolling out Connected Planning put planning and forecasting on Anaplan. Anaplan is a connected planning platform for finance, supply chain, and sales planning on a shared calculation engine. Deutsche Bank keeps the product in the path where work already happens, so FP&A do not context-switch into a graveyard system used only for audits.
The visible result is steadier planning and forecasting. Financial planning is easier to inspect, and adjacent groups can join FP&A without a guided tour of someone's desktop.
