Credit Suisse did not need another dashboard that nobody opened. It needed insurance operations to move. In Switzerland, underwriters and claims handlers already knew where policy and claims went wrong: too many copies, too little ownership, and a close process that waited on the loudest inbox.
BillingCenter from Guidewire is now in that path. Guidewire makes core insurance software for policy, billing, and claims used by property and casualty carriers. The company treats it as production tooling for insurance operations, which is why underwriters and claims handlers live in it rather than exporting from it once a quarter.
