Cisco Supports Application Delivery at Denso

Denso, a consumer discretionary organization in Japan, uses Cisco Meraki from Cisco to support application delivery for network and app owners.

Value results

CategoryValue result
ProductivityFewer stalled items because application traffic has a clear owner
ProductivityHandoffs in application delivery sit in a shared queue instead of a mailbox trail
Risk and complianceCisco Meraki is the governed place network and app owners use for application delivery

Story

Denso grew application traffic faster than the local tools around it. From Japan, consumer discretionary teams still had to serve customers and internal partners who expected a straight answer. Network and app owners were the ones stitching the picture together by hand.

Rolling out Cisco Meraki put application delivery on Cisco. Cisco provides networking, collaboration, and security products that connect offices, data centers, and hybrid work. Denso keeps the product in the path where work already happens, so network and app owners do not context-switch into a graveyard system used only for audits.

The visible result is steadier application delivery. Application traffic is easier to inspect, and adjacent groups can join network and app owners without a guided tour of someone's desktop.
