Story
Financials work at Chime spans more than one site, even when headquarters sits in the United States. Financial planning was splitting across regional habits. FP&A asked for a shared way to run planning and forecasting without freezing local judgment.
Guidewire (PolicyCenter) is what they standardized on. Guidewire makes core insurance software for policy, billing, and claims used by property and casualty carriers. Chime uses it as the system of record for financial planning, with FP&A as the primary operators and other groups coming in through the same queue.
Leaders get a picture they can actually walk. Teams get fewer mystery statuses. The story is about operating change, not an unpublished percentage.
