Story
Klarna grew core processing faster than the local tools around it. From Sweden, financials teams still had to serve customers and internal partners who expected a straight answer. Operations and product were the ones stitching the picture together by hand.
Rolling out Anaplan put banking operations on Anaplan. Anaplan is a connected planning platform for finance, supply chain, and sales planning on a shared calculation engine. Klarna keeps the product in the path where work already happens, so operations and product do not context-switch into a graveyard system used only for audits.
The visible result is steadier banking operations. Core processing is easier to inspect, and adjacent groups can join operations and product without a guided tour of someone's desktop.
